Day 2 – 7 Day Cleanse

Breakfast1443137733_nSo far, my body still feels great and I’m eating light so I can get clean. As always in the Store,  there are many temptations. There are cookies that we sell and there are Grub Hub Lunches and Dinners. Too much food. I’m ordering salads! I drank 3 pots of green tea today but I feel very hydrated.  I am trying to keep my spirits up by doing as much work around the Store and eating in a timely fashion. My breakfast was awesome and very healthy.  It consisted of fresh scrambled organic eggs with almond milk, salt, pepper, onion powder, paprika, thyme and organic tomatoes, peppers, onions, salsa and a dash of sriracha for some extra spice. I love it!

My cleanse has not stopped me from doing anything yet. No running to the bathroom. I am getting into the swing of things with some light exercises as well. Stationary bike, crunches, frogs and a few upper body exercises to keep me going. My arms bulk up like sausages if I do not work them out. My legs are a little out of shape but I’m doing cardio (stairs) to get my legs back together.

It is another great Spring day but I’m not going for a run yet. I need to get my mental ready for that. I’m going to start slow but work hard. Yes, I know I always say that but I always do it. It’s just getting a little harder to start the older I get. The cold is not what it used to be to me.  I cannot tolerate it.

So, as I sit here with my fluffy cats, I realize that I have a long road ahead, but the important thing to remember is that I have started.
